Launched in 2001, the .NAME universal TLD is the only one meant for personal websites only. These domain names can include personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other designations people are popular by. At the beginning, solely 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you planned to secure john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already bought third-level domain names remained working.

You will be able to correct the WHOIS information, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our firm if you have its EPP transfer code from the present registrar company and we will renew it once the transfer has been done.
