A catch-all feature that is enabled for a given mailbox will permit you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. To state it differently, if you deactivate an email address and somebody still sends an email to it, or to any miswritten email address under the exact same domain, you will get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you won’t miss an email for any reason, which could be crucial if you are running a company, for example. Since you may start receiving unsolicited emails, you can use the catch-all option with anti-spam filtering software so as to receive only legitimate messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Web Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all e-mailbox easily in case you have a cloud web hosting plan with us. The Email Manager tool in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is feature-rich, yet very simple to work with, and it will allow you to enable different options, including the catch-all one, with only a couple of mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you have will be listed in alphabetical order in this section and to the right of each one of them you will notice a small "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will activate this option, clicking on it for a second time will disable it. As you can have only one such mailbox per domain name, our system will notify you if you already have another mailbox with this option activated or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

A catch-all email address can be created with several clicks of the mouse if you’ve got a semi-dedicated service with our company. The semi-dedicated account will be managed through our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel and you will be able to create mailboxes under any domain name hosted there. To activate the catch-all functionality for a specific mailbox, you’ll need to click on the logo with the exact same name, which will be on the right-hand side of each mailbox. Disabling this feature can be achieved in the exact same manner and will not take more than a click either. In case the catch-all feature has already been enabled for a particular domain name, you will receive a warning text message. The same is valid if the mailbox that you want to be a catch-all one has email forwarding enabled, as our system will never disable or edit any feature automatically.
